Truck Driver

Taiga Building Products is a leading wholesale distributor of building materials, with branch offices throughout Canada and various locations in the United States. We are seeking a full-time Truck Driver to join our transportation team in Rocklin, CA. In this role, you will make deliveries from our Rocklin California distribution center to customers in Northern California and Northern Nevada, while supporting safe, efficient, and reliable operations.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with manual transmission experience required
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Able to pass a physical exam and meet all legal and moral standards
• Successfully complete training and orientation requirements, including a road test
• Minimum 2 years of driving experience
• High school diploma or GED (preferred)
• No more than 3 moving violations in the past 3 years (some restrictions apply)
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds during winter months
• Knowledge of building materials considered an asset but not required

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform pre-inspection of truck before each shift
• Keep logbook accurate and up to date at all times
• Inspect delivery sites to ensure a safe unloading environment
• Communicate regularly with the dispatcher for efficient and timely product delivery
• Perform other duties as assigned

COMPENSATION:

• Hourly position – $26 – $29.25 / Hour
• Discretionary bonus program

• 401K match up to 4%
