Treating Plants

To take advantage of increasing demand for treated wood, Taiga in 1987 established a wood preservation plant at its distribution centre then located in New Westminster, BC.

Today, Taiga produces preserved lumber at three plants (ENVIROFOR PRESERVERS LTD., a division of Taiga Building Products) strategically located to service the Canadian market, these are among Canada's most efficient and environmentally friendly wood preservation plants:

• Langley, BC, since 1997
• Edmonton, AB, since 1999
• Monetville, ON, since 2005
