Taiga Building Products – We have a full-time, permanent opportunity for a detail-oriented Credit Supervisor to support our Eastern Region operations. Credit Supervisor assists Manager in credit and collections operations. This role will review all customer applications for credit and determine whether to approve them. For outstanding accounts, Credit Supervisor will actively pursue collections and work with customers to bring their accounts up to date. An ideal candidate will be able to develop strategies and goals to reduce risk and increase overall revenues.
This position supports multiple locations across Ontario, Quebec, the Maritimes, and Newfoundland, and reports directly to the Manager, Corporate Credit. Occasional travel may be required.

Key Responsibilities
- Regular review of receivable aging reports to identify accounts that require follow up communication.
- Interface with sales organization to communicate credit decisions and ensure timely review of new customers.
- Make credit decisions within assigned authority
- Research, document and resolve outstanding issues and balances. Resolve escalated collection issues. Interface with customer and sales team to assist in collections as required.
- Ensure that branches address EDI rejection promptly.
- Buying groups such as Castle Home Hardware TimBrMart, Home Depot, with all our various branches, their emails are directed to Milton for handling or forwarding.
- Exchange of trade references.
Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- A minimum of 4 years’ experience in Credit and Collections
- Proficient in reading / interpreting financial statements for the purpose of granting credit
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to manage relationships both internally and externally
- Occasional travel may be required
