General Labourer

Taiga Building Products is seeking a full-time General Labourer to join our Kelowna, BC branch. This dynamic role involves assisting in various tasks on the production floor and within the yard to ensure efficient operations. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors and team members to maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while supporting day-to-day production activities.

• Working knowledge of computers and the capacity to learn new programs
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy weights of 50lbs repetitively
• Good track record of attendance
• Lumber or Building materials experience is an asset
• Forklift experience preferred
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners in a WMS environment is an asset
• Focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to work outdoors

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Organizes product in the yard
• Replenishes stocking levels
• Preps product for shipment
