General Laborer

Taiga Building Products is seeking a full-time General Laborer to join our Envirofor BC branch.

The General Laborer helps keep the yard and work areas organized, assists with moving, staging, loading, and unloading materials, and ensures the workspace remains clean and safe. They support daily operations by helping team members as needed, preparing materials for production or shipping, and reporting any maintenance, safety, or operational issues.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Production Planner and/or Shipper/Receiver to ensure smooth operations and effective task coordination, while actively participating in the ongoing effort to maintain an organized, safe, and efficient workplace.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Organized and able to prioritize tasks
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy weights of 50lbs repetitively
• Good track record of attendance
• Lumber or Building materials experience is beneficial, but not mandatory.
• Working knowledge of RF Scanners in a WMS environment is welcomed, but not mandatory.
• Focused on maintaining a clean and safe work environment
• Ability to work alone and as part of a team
• Ability to work outdoors
• Must have own transportation (no transit in the area)
• Willing and able to work either day or evening shifts:
  • Monday to Friday: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
  • Monday to Thursday: 3:30 PM – 2:00 AM
