TAIGA BUILDING PRODUCTS LTD. CLARIFIES NOVEMBER NOTE INTEREST PAYMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

BURNABY, BC, November 15, 2017 – Taiga Building Products Ltd. (“Taiga”) (TSX: TBL & TBL.NT) wishes to clarify the disclosure in its news release issued earlier today. Taiga announced that it will be paying the monthly interest payment of $11.6667 per $1,000 principal amount of subordinated notes (the “Notes”). The payment will be made to Note holders of record at the close of business on November 30, 2017 and will be payable on December 15, 2017.

Note holders who participated in the previously announced exchange offer for Notes which expired on November 8, 2017, and who validly deposited Notes that were taken up by Taiga pursuant to such exchange offer, will receive an interest payment of $4.9863 per $1,000 principal amount of Notes, payable on November 17, 2017, in accordance with the terms of the exchange offer.
