TAIGA REMINDS SHAREHOLDERS OF OCTOBER 24TH VOTING DEADLINE FOR UPCOMING SPECIAL MEETING OF SHAREHOLDERS.

BURNABY, BC, October 18, 2017 – Taiga Building Products Ltd. (“Taiga” or the “Company”) (TSX: TBL & TBL.NT) would like to remind shareholders they have until 10:00 a.m. (Vancouver Time) on October 24, 2017 to vote their shares for upcoming Special Meeting of Shareholders to be held on October 26, 2017 (the “Meeting”).
The Meeting will be held at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown Hotel, 6083 McKay Avenue, Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada on October 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. (Vancouver time). Additional information relating to the Meeting is provided in the management information circular dated September 29, 2017, which has been mailed to shareholders and is available on SEDAR at www.sedar.com. Shorecrest has been retained by the Company and will be paid a customary fee for their services, which Taiga expects to be approximately $30,000, and which will be borne by the Company.
The board of directors of Taiga recommends that the disinterested shareholders of the Company vote in favour of the share issuance resolution proposed at the Meeting.
Please vote following the instructions provided on the proxy or voting instruction form you received in the mail to vote your shares. Your vote is very important. Please vote in sufficient time for your vote to be received by the Company’s registrar and transfer agent, Computershare Investor Services Inc. prior to the proxy cut off of 10:00 a.m. (Vancouver Time) on October 24, 2017.
